Dancing Mood Podcasters Soundclash

Boss Sounds to wreck the town

Postby Tyler » Wed Jul 11, 2007 8:02 pm

MAC USERS:

I use GarageBand which is SUPER podcast friendly. I just drop in files from my library and record myself introing songs and jsut edit it together... It also lets you embed artwork and notes (i.e. tracklisting). There's also a video option which I have yet to do.

Gabe said all eras, so I'm assuming that Dancehall and Ragga should be fine. I'm going with all eras, not necessarily all waves of ska. Obviously this isn't going to be a traditional clash...I would pick a lot different set if I was, but I'm trying to be representative of the rules.

sunday is coming up....
is the musical occupation poll site up?
i am trying to live up to my last post on the constructive criticism thread and be more active....
I am just finishing up the World Ska podcast and cant wait for the others.
Since people mentioned about starting up more podcasts, hopefully you can hold another soundclash in a few more months.
Sincerely,
Jenn

The poll will be up on Sunday
I'm working on mine a little at a time.

Yea, we can do another...It's great that you are all participating!
Can't wait to hear em' all.

I think a quote from one the greatest movies is fitting here:
"You seem a decent fellow, I hate to kill you; You seem a decent fellow, i hate to die"-Princess Bride

I think next time the podcasts should be only submitted to the person who is hosting the sound clash, and released on the stated date..... since some have posted their track lists earlier it may cause unfair advantages/disadvantages. If i were to make a podcast next time, and was able to see the tracklists, i would change up my original selections knowing what the others had in store. also, i would want to dedicate some time on sunday to listen to all the casts at once. I am excited about hearing them all, i would prefer to have a fresh slate to judge fairly and make a fair and reasoned vote.
I am siked....!
Sincerely,
Jenn

i agree that they should be kept secret. I'm not sure how Gabe could not see them before hand, though. Maybe they shouldn't even be sent to him until the last day?
